Michael Konowalski and Bill Sifert of Optivita Nutrition are excited to offer an extensive corporate wellness program that is both educational and motivating for employees. Employee wellness is important for both the employee and employer. Wellness programs must be fun, educational, motivating, and rewarding to encourage maximum participation and positive results. Our wellness program is unique in providing overall health assessment along with ongoing education and support to encourage positive lifestyle changes.

Wellness programs will be given for a fee to the employer and complimentary to the employees for the determined time frame. They will take place at the employers’ site for convenience and to encourage participation. Seminars can be given for free at the employers’ site or at our conference room at Optivita Nutrition.

As a community outreach, we at Optivita Nutrition offer free educational seminars that cover topics such as: nutrition, resistance training, cardiovascular exercises, and supplement requirements. These seminars last about an hour to an hour and a half and teach the TRUTH about diet and exercise.

In-House Seminars:

Our in-house seminars are offered in places of business or in private homes. One of our consultants will bring a projector and lap top computer to illustrate the topics being covered and pass out handouts for everyone to follow with. We cover topics such as:

  • Nutrition: Why most diets fail, popular fad diets and why they never work, glycemic indexes of popular carbs, energy balances, calorie modulation, blood sugar control, famine states, and much more!
  • Resistance Training: You will learn the differences between fast and slow twitch muscles and why that is important, proper ways to split your training program, what different training styles are for and why most of them are just a waste of time, when and how to stretch, plus more.
  • Cardiovascular Exercises: Learn the difference between over-distance and HIIT cardio, find out which is better at different times of the day, find out how many calories cardio really does burn and its effectiveness, learn how insulin levels can impact the amount of fat you burn, know your target heart rate zone and how you can use it to your advantage, plus more.
  • Supplements: Learn which supplements are truly needed, find out why we need to take supplements and its impact on our long term health, learn the difference between what the RDA, ODA, and PDA suggest, plus much more.

Back to school nutrition!
Healthy, quick, and fun meals that your kids will enjoy.

Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day, especially for your children. Studies show that diets that are lacking in protein, vitamins, whole grains, and vegetables cause children to have lower academic achievement scores. Preparing a healthy breakfast doesn’t have to be either hard or boring for your kids. Here are some great breakfast ideas that your children will love and will make them more alert, perform better in school, and aide in proper development.

Have you ever wondered why 95% of all diets fail?

It’s because most diets slow down your metabolic rate from drops in hormones (due to under eating), loss of lean muscle mass (from lack of resistance exercises, poor diet choices, and acclamation to the new calorie intake), and trying to follow a nutrition plan that is unrealistic.
Getting lean is only the first step, staying lean is the goal. Decreasing the efficiency of your metabolism is setting yourself up for failure. There is a truth to how our bodies really work and believe it or not there is only one true way to lose unwanted body fat forever.
